About LinkAndTalk
Free encrypted voice calls. Just share a link.
Talk in your browser—without installing an app, creating an account or sharing your phone number.
LinkAndTalk makes it easy to bring people into a voice conversation. You don’t need everyone to use the same messenger. All they need is your invitation link and a compatible browser.
Start a free callStart a conversation in three steps
- Start a call. Add a display name if you wish.
- Share the invitation link with the people you want to speak to.
- Approve their requests to join and start talking.
Make a one-to-one call or bring several people together. There is no registration, no account to manage, and no phone number or email address required.
Another way to stay in touch
Sometimes the people you want to reach cannot access your usual calling service.
When WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook Messenger, Zoom or Microsoft Teams is blocked or unavailable, LinkAndTalk offers a browser-based alternative. Share a link through any channel available to you and connect without installing another calling app.
LinkAndTalk works where its website and calling connection are accessible. Access depends on the country and network; it cannot bypass every restriction.
Your voice stays between the people in your call
Calls are end-to-end encrypted. Your voice is encrypted in your browser before it travels across the network and decrypted in the browsers of approved participants.
LinkAndTalk’s server forwards encrypted audio without receiving the secret keys needed to listen. We do not record your calls.
How the encryption works
Audio uses AES-GCM encryption through LiveKit’s end-to-end encryption system. Call keys are generated in the browser and securely delivered to approved participants using ECDH P-256, HKDF-SHA-256 and AES-256-GCM key protection.
Encryption protects your call audio; it does not make website visits anonymous or prevent someone in the conversation from recording what they hear.
You control who joins
An invitation link lets someone request access—it does not automatically admit them. The organiser decides who joins and can end the call for everyone.
Share invitations privately and approve people you expect. Display names are chosen by participants, rather than verified identities.
Open your browser. Share your link. Talk.
LinkAndTalk is free to use, with an interface available in 25 languages, on compatible phone, tablet and computer browsers.
For mobile calls, keep the call page active. Locking your phone or switching apps can interrupt audio.
